City activities and facilities effected by the recent storms
As a result of the past weekend storms, The Department of Parks and Recreation is issuing this advisory to the citizens of Lansing to notify them about the following park closures: Scott Woods and Fenner are both closed. Elm Park, Frances Park, Moores Park, Hunter Park and Gier Park are all partially closed. In regard to ball field closures and game cancellations, please contact the cancellation line at 483-6019 Citizens should also be aware sections of the River Trail may be under water. Moores Park swimming pool is scheduled to open Wednesday, June 11 and city crews are working diligently to meet this date. The Concert in the Park scheduled for Wednesday, June 11 at Frances Park will continue as planned.
